Informal Meeting with the British Council

An informal meeting was held on 22 August 2011 at Islamabad Hotel, G-6, Civic Centre, Melody Market Islamabad at 1700hrs. Mr. Munir Hussain had been the focal person to represent the British Council. The meeting was arranged to honor Mrs. Shahnaz Farooq who was retiring after rendering her services to the British Council for over a decade. Mr. Asad Shoaib General Secretary WWT and Mr. Awais Coordinator WWT (Southern Punjab) represented Wespak Welfare Trust(WWT) on this occasion. The discussion clustered round bilateral close organization to organization working relations. New strategies to strengthen working relations were brought under discussion. Other staff from the British Council was present in this meeting. To end the meeting all participants expressed greater enthusiasm for future commitments and they departed in good humor.
